Research On University Park Construction In Liaoning Province

This thesis researched the construction mode and strategy of University Park for the purpose of revitalizing the old industrial base of Liaoning Province. University parks construction pursuit appeared in our country because of more and more students were admitted by universities since the end of twentieth century, the right of university management was transferred from the center government to the local government and the requirement of regional economic and social, We can make a judgment that the regional higher education in our country was having a rapid development in the reason of 67 university parks were built in last 10 years.By using scientific research methods such as literature, statistics and comparison, collated the history of university parks, classified two construction modes of foreign university parks and five modes of domestic university parks, compared the foreign construction modes to domestic construction modes, and summarized the problems in domestic university construction modes, mainly including lacking of detailed planning at the beginning, function missing of the parks, and the unsound personnel training system of the parks.The thesis still analyzed the construction status, and summarized both the advantage of Liaoning university parks which including resources superiority, geography superiority, and the weakness of Liaoning university parks which including the parks did not drive the development of regional economic and social development, did not meet the development requirement of regional higher education and the entirety function missing of university parks.The emphasis of this thesis was combining The Three Economic Developing Strategy to the social character and higher education resources of Coastal Economic Zone, Central Cities, and Northwestern Liaoning. Thus, this thesis selected the suitable construction modes of domestic university parks, and finally it also gave the best construction modes and strategy to construct local university parks which could provide service for regional economy and social development, and to push Liaoning Old Industrial Base development forward.
