A Study On Education Of Ethics Of Engineering Innovation In The Universities Of Science And Technology

Engineering activities is the key connection that converts science and technology into direct productivity. The innovation in engineering field is such a process in the connection that integrates and optimizes every single factor and then pushes forward the achievement of the whole project. Whether the engineering innovation is appropriate or not concerns not only the process and quality of the project itself, also the impact on society and natural systems in the construction and operation process and even to the future of human. Thus, to avoid and reduce the occurrence of unfavourable impact, forming and guiding engineering innovation activities under innovation ethics is full of importance in modern engineering.However, since innovation in engineering involves many specialties and has the feature of synthesis, complexity and sociality, it requires that engineers have a higher innovation ethical quality. It is important to launch education of innovation ethics in the universities of science and technology, where most of the engineering talents are raised.This paper aims at going through related concepts in innovation in engineering, analyzing and comparing the relationships among innovation ethics engineering, engineering ethics and innovation ethics, summarizing the main subjects of innovation ethics in engineering, analyzing the difficulties and exploring the possible solutions of launching engineering innovation ethics education in universities and colleges.
