| As the continual development of our comprehensive national strength, physical business has achieved a fast advancement, and competitive sports even has ranked in the former list of the world. But, the development of tennis in Chongqing does not coordinate with the overall level of our nation, even has a huge gap, compared with some tennis strong provinces in China. Therefore, that how to further strengthen the development of tennis in Chongqing, realize the rising of tennis in Chongqing, achieve the sustainable development of tennis talents in Chongqing, becomes a focus for sports practitioners in Chongqing, especially the tennis practitioners, which needs to be paid attention to and rapidly solved.As the youngest municipality, Chongqing achieved a fast economical development. The status of tennis, which is based on economics, not only reflects the potential of tennis and the talent pool in Chongqing, also reflects the long-term planning of sports talent training to some degree. This paper is for the study of athletes, coaches and the managements, who participated in Junior Tennis Championships in Chongqing, and uses the methods of literature, logic analysis, conversation, survey and statistics. After doing a survey on the status of tennis talent training in Chongqing, exploring the problems and the root of problems in depth, and proposing effective strategies, it achieves the following conclusions,1. The sports of tennis in Chongqing has achieved a fast development during these years, and the quality and quantity of the tennis talents keep rising, but it still does not coordinate with the overall level of our nation, and has a large gap, compared with other developed provinces.2. Affected by the system of planned economics, the tennis talent training system of Chongqing is not complete, and the management is single, which bury many sportsmen who have talent on tennis. 3. The selection of tennis talents in Chongqing is not scientific. Some tennis coaches could not renew their knowledge in time, have not made the advanced ways of tennis training clear and train in a low level. They always select talents by experience, which is occupies a large extent, and it is hard to forms a systematic and long-term tennis talent selection of Chongqing.4. The education system of tennis talents in Chongqing is not complete. The training of tennis players is in conflict with their intellectual courses, and the intellectual quality of most talents is not in a high level. The lack of learning capacity and negative learning attitude are also the important reasons why they do not have a high level intellectual quality.5. The capital investment for training tennis talents by Chongqing is insufficient, and the training ground could not meet the demand for tennis training. Primary schools and middle school have not joined in the training of tennis talents together. |
