Investigation Of Health Status Among Freshmen Of A University In Jilin Province From 2006 To 2008

Objective:In order to safeguard the health of college students and the social needs,conducting a comprehensive and detailed physical examination is particularly important.This paper carried out an investigation of health status among freshmen of a university in Jilin province from 2006 to 2008 to understand the health of college students conditions,improve the physical quality of the students,make students got through college and completed their education,also provide scientific basis for the school enrollment work and the development of practical disease control measures and health education programs.Methods:Clinical thermometers were distributed to freshmen within one week after enrolment,carried out a overall investigation and established health records.If the abnormal was found,It would be diagnosed after review or further examination. Physical health examination data among freshmen of a universityin Jilin provine from 2006 to 2008 was collated and input,established a database.Factors was counted and analysis,including Time,gender,etc.Results:1.There was an examination on 14948 freshment totally in 2006~2008 about HBsAg.The HBsAg positive rate of the freshmen was 2.73%.The HBsAg positive rate of male freshmen was much higher than that of female freshmen.The ALT disorder rate among freshmen was 6.20%.The main serum marker Patterns of the HBV infection are HBsAg+HBeAg+Anti-HBc and HBsAg+Anti-HBc+Anti-HBc.2.The pulmonary tuberculosis cases among freshmen were 25,The pulmonary tuberculosis positive rate of the freshmen in 2006-2008 was 0.17%. The difference of pulmonary tuberculosis rate was statistically significant among 3 years,the rate in 2008 was much lower than that in 2007.3.There was an examination on 14502 freshmen totally about vision from 2006~2008.The rate of myopia was 66.28%,The freshmen of severe degree of myopia were significantly more than those of the other levels of eyesigh.The difference of myopia rate was statistically significant among 3 years. The rate of myopia presented a rising trend year by year. The myopia positive rate of female freshmen was much higher than that of male freshmen. From 2006 to 2008, the prevalence rate of color weakness in male freshmen was 0.72% and it in female freshmen was 0.04%.The color weakness positive rate of male freshmen was much higher than that of female freshmen. the prevalence rate of color amblyopia in male freshmen was 0.60% and it in female freshmen was 0.03%. The color amblyopia positive rate of male freshmen was much higher than that of female freshmen.4.There was an examination on 14 948 freshment totally. The hypertension positive rate of the freshmen in 2006~2008 was 0.55%. The hypertension positive rate of male freshmen was significantly higher than that of female freshmen. The Tachycardia and arrhythmia positive rate of the freshmen in 2006-2008 was 0.97%, the rate of Tachycardia and arrhythmia presented a declining trend year by year. The positive rate of male freshmen was much higher than that of female freshmen.Conclusion:1.The HBsAg positive rate among freshmen was below the national average from a college of Jilin province from 2006~2008. The HBsAg positive rate of male freshmen was much higher than that of female freshmen every year.2.The main serum marker Patterns of the HBV infection are HB sAg+H BeAg+Anti-HBc and HBsAg+Anti-HBc+Anti-HBc.3.The rate of pulmonary tuberculosis among freshmen was below the general level from a college of Jilin province from 2006~2008,the rate of pulmonary tuberculosis presented a declining trend year by year.4.The freshmen of severe degree of myopia were significantly more than those of the other levels of eyesight. The rate of myopia presented a rising trend year by year. The myopia positive rate of female freshmen was much higher than that of male freshmen.The color weakness and color amblyopia positive rate of male freshmen was much higher than that of female freshmen.5.The hypertension positive rate of male freshmen was significantly higher than that of female freshmen.6.The tachycardia and arrhythmia positive rate presented a rising trend year by year, the rate in 2008 was much lower than that in 2006 and 2007,the tachycardia and arrhythmia positive rate of male freshmen was much higher than that of female freshmen.7.The focus of school health programme and responsibility of school health worker were conclusive.It required school to strictly perform the physical examination works of freshmen, strengthen the health management of students and enhance the physical quality of students.
