The construction and reform of curricula have gained some achievement in China's vocational colleges in the transitional period from scaleup phase to the connotation construction one. Meanwhile, the training objective has tansformed from the training of unique professional competence to that of the integration of occupational competence, approach capability and social capacity and the curriculum provision has also met the need of the society as well as the time, while the structure, content, type and model of vocational courses still require further theoretical and practical researches due to the backward in tertiary vocational education for the course construction in vocational colleges has not been in its fully development stage and people still need time to learn more about the nature of tertiary vocational education program. How to construct the integrated curriculum system stamped with tertiary vocational characteristic― transforming the tranditional subject-separated curriculum oriented system and constructing work and project processes oriented system has become an urgent issue in the curriculum construction of tertiary vocation education.The integrated curriculum should be characterized by focusing on the students'real working atmosphere in the future, taking project processes as guidance and combining the technique process with the work process. Introducing Project Processes Theory into the construction of the integrated curriculum in accordance with the requirements of the higner vocational talents'training objective and professional comprehensive capacities by using literature research and experimentation, the author has conducted a research on tertiary vocational integrated curriculum development based on project-oriented model. Theoretically, it has constructed an approach and put forward the principle and model of developing tertiary vocational project-oriented integrated curriculum; practically, it has put the theoretical framework into the specific course and carried on case-based explorations, developing an integrated coures VIDEO EDITING AND ANIMATION for Computer Multimedia Technology majors.There are five chapters in the dissertation as following: Chapter 1― Introduction. It mainly elaborates the backgroud, the content, the approaches and the structure of the dissertation.Chapter 2― The Theoretical Analysis of Project-oriented Integrated Curriculum in Tertiary Vocational Education. It mainly elaborates the connotations of the project-oriented curriculum, the integrated curriculum and the project-oriented integrated curriculum and the theoretical basis in develping tertiary vocational integrated curriculum.Chapter 3― The Train of Thought of Project-oriented Integrated Curriculum in Tertiary Vocational Education. It explores the characteristics, principles and models in developing project-oriented integrated curriculun in tertiary vocational colleges.Chapter 4―VIDEO EDITING AND ANIMATION―The Outcome of Project-oriented Integrated Curriculum in Tertiary Vocational Education. It carries on an case-based exploration of the integrated curriculum in the major of Computer Multimedia Technology and elaborates the effectiveness of project-oriented integrated curriculum in tertiary vocational education.Chapter 5―Summary and Scope. It summarizes the outcome of the research, points out some flaws and insufficiency and makes the forecast to supplement researches.
