With the development of the information age,information literacy has become a necessary quality for every member of society.At the same time,information literacy plays an important role in developing vocational ability and improving lifelong learning ability of secondary vocational students.Web Front-end Development is a professional course for computer majors in secondary vocational schools,and it is also a very important course in higher vocational and undergraduate stages.Under the background of the rapid development of the Internet and the expansion of higher vocational education,the traditional Web Front-end Development course gradually shows some problems,such as the old teaching content,unable to meet the needs of industrial development and students to enter higher education,the organization and implementation of the course is not suitable for the development of secondary vocational students,ignoring the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality.Therefore,it is worth studying to reconstruct the current Web Front-end Development course by using the curriculum development method of secondary vocational project integrated with PDCA.According to the technical requirements of Web front-end development engineers and the characteristics of secondary vocational students,this study firstly introduces the PDCA model into the project curriculum development model,aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional project curriculum development secondary vocational curriculum,and puts forward an improved model of secondary vocational project curriculum development.Secondly,the model is used to develop and reconstruct the Web Front-end Development course of secondary vocational schools.The whole process consists of four stages and seven steps: The preliminary investigation of curriculum development(P),task and ability analysis(P),curriculum standard compilation(P),teaching resources development(D),project curriculum implementation(D),project curriculum evaluation(C)and project curriculum improvement and standardization(A).Combined with industry hotspots and job demands,data visualization content is added after Java Script module in the course content.Finally,in the course implementation,information literacy training is introduced into the teaching design,and the course is evaluated from three aspects: curriculum development plan,student achievement and student information literacy.This study takes the project as the course organization form,takes the teaching goal of Web Front-end Development as the clue,takes the specialized course of Web Front-end Development as the carrier,and takes the task-driven teaching method,systematically expounds the practical research of Web Front-end Development project curriculum development in secondary vocational schools.Through the course implementation and evaluation process,it is verified that the course developed in this research can help secondary vocational students to master the web page programming ability required by front-end development,which is conducive to cultivating students’ information literacy.At the same time,it also verifies the effectiveness of the improved model of secondary vocational project development,which can be applied to other similar curriculum development in secondary vocational school.This study mainly contains three innovations.The first is to improve the project curriculum development model and put forward a curriculum development model of secondary vocational project integrated with PDCA.The second is to apply the cultivation of information literacy to the courses and teaching of secondary vocational students.The third is to add data visualization in the course content development according to the hot spots of the industry and job demands.
