At present, the "learning difficulties" issue has become an important research field of the education and psychology. With the deepening of research in this area, various disciplines have joined in. Researchers rarely used sociological theory in regard to the study of "learning difficulties".Because self-esteem needs are one of man's most basic needs, which are an important dominant role in the individual life, it has been the concern of many researchers. Self-esteem needs become the object of concern in this study because of its times, the uniqueness and the importance. The focus and the difficulty of this study is how to explore a variety of factors which affect students with learning difficulties with the theory of the sociology and how to meet the needs of the self-esteem of students with learning difficulties.In this paper, based on the actual situation of our country and the absorption of the study at home and abroad, the author study on self-esteem of students with learning difficulties with the case in the form of live-based, the study aimed at understanding what are the effects of factors of students with learning difficulties in self-esteem needs. In the conversion process of students with learning difficulties, there is what kind of relationship between these factors. Through the perspective of sociology, the author explains the relationship between them. Thus the author has a better solution into the issue of conversion of students with learning difficulties.In this study, the author uses a combination of various methods, such as literature analysis, participatory observation, case analysis, a sample questionnaire and so on. The aim is to sort out the problem more clearly and guide the educational practice better.Through a combination of case studies and questionnaires, the author find a number of important factors which impact self-esteem needs of students with "learning difficulties" .1. Parent-child relationship. This factor plays an important role in the formation of student self-esteem. It is the premise of self-esteem being improved in the transformation process of students with "learning difficulties".2. Teacher-student relationship. The advantages and disadvantages of teacher-student relationship directly determine the speed of its transformation process in the process of junior high school students with"learning difficulties". It is the foundation of meeting the needs of self-esteem in the process of transformation.3. The relationship between peer groups. Junior high school students are in a period of youthful rebellion; their degree of cultural recognition of peer group is the standard of the social process. This relationship is the key to improve self-esteem in the implementation of conversion of students with "learning difficulties".This study is structured as follows:1. Introduction--- The background to the study, the significance of research, summary of related research 2. Case --- have a survey, interviews, and a sample questionnaire.3. Summed up with the summary for students with "learning difficulties" and staff.4. The recommendations for self-esteem of students with "learning difficulties" and outlook.
