Pre-design teaching and generative teaching are very important issues, which involve the problem of teaching designing, teaching content, teaching goals, teaching strategies, teaching evaluation. At the same times, which are related with the teachers'wisdom, teacher professional development, effective teaching, student management, teaching aesthetics, and so on in varying degrees? Pre-design teaching and generative teaching are not the new issue from the"midwife operation"(claimed by Socrates), to"inspired by inducing"(claimed by Confucius), from"Water is the origin of living things"(claimed by Thales), to Taylor'curriculum development system, our country'introduction of the 50's"Kai Luo fu educational theory"all belong to the scope of the study. Regarded to the definition, theoretical foundation, an internal mechanism, and how to combine the pre-design teaching and generative teaching, all of these issues have very important theoretical and practical significance.This paper sorts out the literature and finds that, there are too many theoretical and practical researches about Pre-design teaching and generative teaching at the present stage, especially in the generative teaching. These researchers focused on teaching objectives, teaching, teaching content, teaching, teaching methods, teaching situation, and so on, but the reasons behind pre-design or generation are lack of in-depth digging. There are still many problems in areas such as defining, implementation strategies, and relations between pre-design and generative, research at home and abroad. By the history, at home and abroad Research Review, and reflect on the study at home and abroad, trying to look for innovation in the following areas: First of all, Analysis on the definition, theoretical basis, internal mechanism,"combination point"; Secondly, combined analysis of a particular subject'characteristics; thirdly, research methods, the study of literature and case studies, Classroom observation, interview survey method used in conjunction.The survey and interviews show that the current status have constraints, and there is a gap between operational and idea level , requirements and actual teaching, which towards the randomly selected teachers, who are from five areas and three countries of Gansu Provinces. There are many reasons: First, the new curriculum didn't really acceptable; Secondly, the restricting of existing school management system; thirdly, the concept of cognition and implementation depart; fourthly, teachers'inert and bad habit of thinking; fifthly, generation and pre-design point couldn't be grasped. In view of the current status of reform of the classroom, we are faced with the task of building a classroom in which generative and pre-design are dialectical unity; at the same time, according to the actual classroom, re-examine our basic theoretical level, the basic orientation and the construction of the path, as well as the level of exploration and teachers'practices.
