| Because of the practice found in teaching that the students'thinking is easily disturbed by mental set. The mental set affects the study of physical knowledge. While the specific requirements of the new curriculum standards are aimed to cultivate students'the habit of good thinking; to make students dare to challenge and dare to innovate. Therefore the physical scale of mental set has established for studying the existence of mental set of high school students in physics problem solving. This study will help to actively look for the formation of the reasons for mental set so as to overcome the negative effects of mental set.Starting from the problem, the experimental and theoretical opinions on the mental set of domestic and international education literature are analyzed and studied. It is found that there is few research on the mental set of the specific subject teaching although the theoretical research of mental set related to education at home and abroad has been in a considerable depth.By combining the theoretical and empirical analysis methods , the thesis presents thorough relevant literature review firstly and then comes to the elementary education by carrying out a questionnaire on 489 senior high school students of ChongQing Baxian Middle school. The experiment questionnaire is similar to the A.S.Luchins amount of land and water. While 230 high school students are surveyed on the use of the physical scale of mental set. After data collections, the processing of Spss software and the use of the education evaluation knowledge to analysis, it comes to the conclusions:First, the students'math set scores are not associated with the grades of other subjects no matter what grade they are and whether they are from arts or science classes.Because these mathematical problems are very easy,they doesn't need complex thinking.Second, the mental set is negative to high school students in physics problem solving.The student's grades of physics who has mental set is lower than who hasn't mental set.Third, compared with the poor student , aristogenesis is not easy to be affected by the mental set . Because aristogenesis are more comprehensive and skilled on the knowledge ,so they won't be influenced by the mental set.Finally, massive lengths of the thesis are designed to analyzed the formations and solutions on the negative effects of mental set in physics problem solving. |
