Research On Supply-Demand Balance Mechanism Of University Graduates Employment

As the supply and demand of university graduates get unbalanced, the employment of university graduates becomes more difficult and a serious social problem. In recent years,the number of university graduates in our country increases unceasingly, while the employment demand cannot catch up with the supply. That causes increasing employment pressure and wasting of human resources, affecting the development of economy and society. Therefore, it is necessary to construct market balance mechanism to promote the employment of university graduates.University graduate employment problem was analyzed with empirical methods, and proposals about establishment of employment balance mechanism were put forward in paper.A survey about university graduates and employers has been made. There are765 effective graduate samples from 10 universities and 50 effective employer samples of different type in the survey. Bergmann model is used to analyze the difference of university graduates employment in the labor market between the key universities and the regular universities. The result indicates that the great difference in education resources between the two kinds of university leads to crowd and isolation effects: massive supply of graduates from regular universities in the labor market forms the crowd effect; on the other hand, the graduates from key universities actually appear relatively isolated phenomenon.Based on empirical analysis in this paper, the supply-demand balance mechanism should be set up by the cooperation of the supply part (university), the administration part (government) and the market in university graduates employment market. The universities and corporations cooperation is one kind of beneficial attempt. As the administration part, the government can provide unemployment security, eliminate the block in the labor market and implement flexible employment policies. The information communication and feedback mechanism should become important part in constructing of market mechanism.
