Demonstration experiment teaching is important form and content in physics teaching of middle school, it is important means for students to gain intuitive and perceptual knowledge, but also indispensable to construct the concept and the laws of physics, to understand and master the physical knowledge. Demonstration experiments are teaching activities which middle school students are interested in, it has a positive role that inspires student's motivation to study hard and optimizes physics classroom teaching. The new curriculum put forward new requirements for physics teaching, it is very important for improving teachers' ability of demonstration teaching and optimizing physics classroom teaching in middle school to study physics demonstration experiment teaching under new curriculum idea.Collecting, analyzing and organizing relevant literatures, to grasp the present demonstration experiment teaching and research context, are a necessary precondition for the research. Through the "physics of middle school", "physics experiment class", "physics experiment teaching", "demonstration experiments" and other topics, the thesis discusses the actuality, mainstream trends and main problems in teaching and research of demonstration experiment: Demonstration experiment teaching behaves a mere formality, there are lack of sufficient attention; teaching and research of demonstration experiment extremely emphasis on theories, and ignore practice, researches are often based on the strategies and principles of teaching and neglect of empirical studies that can verify the validity of these principles and strategies.Demonstration experiment teaching is an interactive process of a variety of teaching elements, including teachers and students. Teachers should effectively apply existing knowledge of pedagogy and psychology to it, to understand and grasp the characteristics of demonstration experiment teaching, and to carry out demonstration experiment teaching empirical studies. Constructivism theory of learning, motivation theory and instructional design theory are the theoretical basis for this research, they have some important Inspirations for demonstration experiment teaching: in accordance with Constructivism theory of learning and instructional design theory to build and optimize the process of demonstration experiment teaching; take advantage of learning motivation theory to design teaching strategies which maintain the interests of learning physics.Demonstration experiments mainly have: presentation of equipment and practicality performed by teachers, also including displaying the models of simulation in classroom; still including using projector, slides, video, sound, and the computer simulation experiment etc. .Physics demonstration experiments teaching system mainly consist of experiment devices, teachers and students. According to different purposes of demonstration and requirements of thinking and skill in classroom, there are mainly fours types of physics demonstration experiments: the introduction of topic, the construction of concept and law, the consolidation of knowledge and the application of knowledge.Under new curriculum context, physics demonstration experiments should regard pursuing "the development of Student-oriented" as values tendency of itself own, in accordance with present teaching resources, in demo contents, process of presentation , means of presentation, effects of presentation, way of presentation and so on, bold innovation is necessary in order to achieve the best effect in physics demonstration teaching. The choices of demo contents should embody the interests of students, inquiring, daily life, technology and typical history example; for means of presentation, it is necessary to comprehensively make use of traditional and modern technologies, outstandingly make use of multi-media information technology to optimize demonstration experiment teaching and preliminarily apply Computational Physics; discrepant experiments should be applied to the process of presentation to bring about cognitive imbalance of students to stimulate students' strong passion for knowledge, and finally to help students to effectively construct physical concept and master the laws of physics; way of presentation should focus on inquiry teaching, making use of the scene that physics demonstration experiments create, to guide students to consolidate and apply knowledge.A series of requests should be followed by the evaluation of physics demonstration experiment teaching in senior high school, which are the request of purpose, the request of objectivity, the request of integrity, the request of multi-objects, the request of guiding and the executable request. According to these requests, the thesis studies the evaluation of physics demonstration experiment teaching respectively from the study's achievements of learners and the demonstration teaching of teachers, and builds indexs of evaluation of physics demonstration experiment teaching in senior high school, what is more, establishes weights of indexs of evaluation.
