Relationship Between Learning Achievement, Personality And Reasoning Ability Of Mongolian And Chinese High School Students

Influencing factors of learning achievement are focus of educational psychology at all times. Researches found that learning achievement has been influenced by both the internal factors and circumstance,and also revealed that internal factors involved both intelligent and unintelligent factors are often determined the learning achievement.In this study,we focused on the internal factors and tried to discover the influence of intelligent factors (reasoning ability),unintelligent factors (personality) and how they influenced it.The sample was comprised of 775 high school students.The dependent measures are Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) and Sino Professional Manager (SPM).The result of statistic revealed that:1.In total, personality of Mongolian and Chinese high school students have significant difference in nationality,gender,major,and class-type and students'sources.In factor of extraversion,Mongolian high school students are more extraversion than Chinese;Arts students are more extraversion than science students;Students of common classes are more extraversion than experimental classes.In factor of psycholepsy,Male students got the higher scores than female;In factor of Neuroticism,there are no significant difference in all variables. 2.Scores of SPM showed that Chinese students have the better reasoning ability than Mongolian students,but the Mongolian students of experimental classes have no difference with Chinese students.Students of experimental classes are better than common classes, and no difference with grade in both Chinese and Mongolian;Science students are better than art students;In group A and group B,students of grade 3 and grade 2 showed differences notability;students come from cities are significant better than those come from country.3.In Neuroticism,there is showed very significant differences in EPQ both students those have excellent achievement versus students those have common achievement,and students those have middling achievement versus students those have common achievement.4.SPM also showed the difference with students have different learning achievements, such as excellent students are better than common students, middling students are better than commonly students.5.In total,Psycholepsy showed very significant negative correlation with total scores of SPM,group C,group D and group E;but the Extraversion has significant positive correlation with group E;Neuroticism has significant negative correlation with total score of SPM,group C and group E;Reliability has negative correlation with total score of SPM,group A;Mongolian students'reliability scores showed negative correlation with total scores of SPM,and questions of group D,Chinese students'Psycholepsy has significant negative correlation with total scores of SPM,and questions of group D,group C and group E,too.Mongolian students'Neuroticism scores have negative correlation with total scores of SPM,and questions of group C;Arts students'reliability scores have negative correlation with SPM total scores; science students'psycholepsy scores have negative correlation with SPM total scores,group B,group C,group D and group E;science students'extraversion scores showed positive correlation with scores of group C;Science students'neuroticism scores have negative correlation with SPM total scores,group C,group D and group E.6.Mongolian high school students'learning achievement shows negative correlation with neuroticism factors;Reasoning ability has significant positive correlation with learning achievement;Mongolian high school students'neuroticism and reliability scores showed significant correlation with learning achievement;Chinese students'neuroticism has significant correlation with learning achievement;Total scores of reasoning ability,group C,group D and group E also showed significant correlation with learning achievement.7.High school students,neuroticism factors and SPM scores can predict the learning achievement.Mongolian students'neuroticism factors and SPM,scores of group B and group E can predict the learning achievement.
