Our Party and state attached great importance to the issue of the ideological and political education of college students, how to achieve the goal much better, and train constructors and successors for socialism with Chinese characteristics for the state have always been explored by education workers and researchers. The ultimate goal should be those educated under the guidance of education,internalize the ideological and moral requirements of society to the moral sentiments of their own,and externalize to meet the requirements of the development of the society,to achieve this purpose,self-education of college students can not be ignored.To cultivate the self-education ability is the call of the development of the times, the demands of the ideological and political education reform, and the inevitable requirements to solve the contradictions and conflicts in the development of college students,at the same time, the development of the times provides resources, the new model of ideological and political education provide a sufficient condition and the self-consciousness development provide an opportunity and a reference for the self-education, so it is absolutely necessary to clear the basic objectives and combine the common strength of schools and students to cultivate the self-education ability of college students.The thesis is divided into four parts.
