Classroom can even be a place full of excitement and surprises. But this kind of energetic exciting and influential class environment does not come naturally. We nowadays have known a lot about this field because of the relevant experts'continual research. But by studying the relevant documents, it is found that there are few studies on Chinese senior high school class environment, so the paper takes it as the researching subject.Around this subject, the paper tries to analyze four main factors (peer relationship, teacher-student relationship, involvement, and the order of the class) that are relevant to the English class environment by using some basic principles from methodology and psychology etc. and finds out how those factors influence the class environment. The paper uses the class observation to check ten first grade English classes of senior high schools from Northeastern China, and records the classroom teaching with the observation system.The research shows: firstly in senior high school classroom, independence, cooperation and competition are three kinds of relationship among classmates, and the independent relationship takes the main part, the last two are not that obvious. In term of the class environment, it turns out to be dull. Secondly, the question-answer mode between teachers and students, teachers'effective instruction during students'activity time and the teachers'charm are the keys to adjust the class environment. Thirdly, teacher's over long monologue does harm to students'study initiative, the English class seems to be tedious in that case. An energetic class should be a harmonious combination between students'active participation and effective participation. Fourthly, the effective atmosphere and the good classroom discipline can provide the study environment for the class.Finally, the paper offers some understanding and advice according to the analysis of the senior high school English class environment, hoping to help senior high school teachers create excellent English class environment by providing theories and instructions.
