| In this paper, the main purpose is to explore the representation form of concept's impact on learning effects of the concept, through the study; we have received some results about characteristics of the form of internal representation of different types of chemical concept, the impact of concept representation on the learning effects and so on. Based on the conclusions of these studies, on the one hand, it can provide theoretical reference for the chemistry teachers who work in high school and in front-line teaching; on the other hand, it can provide a case study on chemical subjects for the characterization theory of cognitive psychology.This study aimed to solve 3 problems as follows:(1) What is the characteristic of the internal representation of the different types of the chemical concepts? Different schools, different grades, different sex students whether or not are differences of the form of the internal representations of the chemical concept?(2) Does different forms representation of the chemical concepts can lead to differences learning effect?(3) Which type representation form are effective to learning different types of chemicals concepts?For the above proposes, on the basis of preliminary 4 studies are designed to solve above problems, including 1 investigation, 3 teaching experiments.Study 1: used a questionnaire on 360 high school students to investigate the characteristic of the form of the internal representation on the concept of different types of chemical concept.There are significantly differences of internal representation among different schools and between grades students. But there are no significantly differences of internal representation between different sex students.Study 2: Selected "volumetric flask" concept as a "specific" chemical concept sample carry on teaching experiment, through the research, we compare the differences of learning affection, to explore more effective representation form of learning the "specific "chemical concepts.Study 3: Selected "oxide" concept as a "defining" chemical concept sample carry on teaching experiment, through the research, we compare the differences of learning affection, to explore more effective representation form of learning the "defining "chemical concepts.Study 4: Selected "extract" concept as a "interoperability", of chemical concept sample carry on teaching experiment. Through the research, we compare the differences of learning effect ion, to explore more effective representation form of learning the "interoperability "chemical concept.Based on statistical analysis, conclusions are made as follows:(1) Students have several representations about chemical concept, the same type chemical concepts own similar forms of internal representation.(2) There is significantly difference of the internal representation of chemical concepts between different grades. But there is no significantly difference of the internal representation of chemical concepts between sex.(3) The external form of representation of the concept is directly impacting on the form of internal representation.(4) The richness of the representation form of the chemical concepts can affect the effectiveness of student learning.(5) Properly application the "sample and the counter-examples," can improve the learning effect of the definition chemicals concept.(6) Used Physical representation of the concept can improve learning effect of the interoperability chemical concept. |
