The Relationship Between MBTI Personality Type Of Kindergarteners And Their Occupational Identity

Occupational identity is the extent of people's self acceptance towards their occupation based their own practical experience and background,MBTI personality type is about the type of the personality. Occupational identity and is the hot issues concerned by educationists,psychologists and experts in human resources in recent years.However,there is empty about on the study of occupational identity from the view of one's personality.In order to know the information of occupational identity and the MBTI personality of kindergarteners',the present study investigated 401 kindergarteners from Henan province.The present study had four parts:(1)making the tools:to compile a occupational identity scale for kindergarteners and to investigate the reliability and validity of the former scale and,by Exploratory factor analysis,Confirmatory factor analysis and Coefficient of internal consistency;(2) investigating the influence of Demographics variables on occupational identity;(3) investigating the influence of Demographics variables on MBTI personality type;and(4) analysis of the relationship between MBTI personality type and occupational identity.The result revealed that there were four dimensions in kindergarteners' occupational identity,and there were differences among different dimensions for kindergarteners with different positions and different kindergartens,Furthermore,there were difference on the MBIT personality type with age and children.We also found the dimensions that influenced the occupational identity.
