The main purpose is to find out the common composition of footwork and the characteristics of using footwork. by the end , the paper concluded the following conclusion:1 The four main footwork used in the match of Malin and Wanghao is :small step, right single step, jumping step and left closer step. the foue step is very important for the person who using penhold attack stype. but the four stype footworks have different, especially the small step using in Malin is higher than Wanghao.2 Malin and Wanghao use the small step most frequently, it is mainly used adjust body , In large moving it is used for adjusing step,but in small movings it is used for attack step.3 Malin and Wanghao using loser step or continuous small step and closer step move from the right to the left, but at the diffent direction they like using the right crossing step, righ leaping step and small step.4 Moving from behind to front Malin and Wanghao using the most single stype of step is right single step.but moving from front to beind Malin usually use right crossing step, Wanghao is used to use jumping step.5 At the continuous forhand attack, Malin and Wanghao often useJ4-(x, M) J3, x.
