Study Of Cucriculum Contents Of Wushu Self-defense Construction In Colleges

Education of self-defense was very popular in the universities of western countries in 1990s.And it has become a necessary course since the beginning of the twenty-first century.With the development of Chinese Wushu,there are more and more content about self-defense for people in China.And the study about self-defense has made a great progress since the mid-20th century.But there are still a big gap between China and Western countries in universal and propaganda degree.For this reason,it' s important and pending to carry out the education of self-defense in all the people especially in the college students.And it' s become imminent to study how to carry out the course of self-defense in university.The study is based on the status quo of domestic self-defense education.The study analyzes the feasibility and necessity to carry out the education of self-defense in colleges by survey method, expert interviews method and logical method.On this basis,the study combines the experts suggestions and constructs the basic framework about the theories and skills of the self-defense course.To reach the following conclusion:(1)The course of self-defense education is not optimistic at present. The teaching materials are scare and not unified in different schools. The teaching content pays more attention on skills but ignores the theory teaching.The teaching content is blind and arbitrary.(2) There are rich resources in colleges.The conditions of teachers and facilities can afford to set the course of self-defense education. However,people' s degree of concern to the curriculum of self-defense is not strong.The result about the construction of self-defense curriculum is little.(3)The curriculum construction of self-defense has four principles: consistent with the course principle;simple and practical principle; national character principle;reality principle.The construction is based on the suggestions of experts,the difficulty of skills and so on. (4)The theory system of self-defense mainly includes six parts:the principle to use self-defense;violent criminals psychological characters;the characters and roles of self-defense;the weak and crucial parts of human body;the legal knowledge of self-defense;the concept of education to prevent violent crime.The skill system of self-defense includes five parts:basic posture;footwork;play;get law; wrestling;free law.(5)The beating includes boxing law,elbow law,leg law and knee law. The boxing includes Chong method,Guan method,Gou method.The elbow methods include Ding and Pan methods.The leg methods include Bian method and Deng method.Knee law includes mainly to Ding method.The catching mainly includes catching-figures,catching-wrist,catching-elbow.The throw law includes holding-leg-throwing,folding-neck-throwing, folding-arm-throwing.The free laws mainly include that to be free when arm was grasped,neck was grasped,neck was grasped,chest was grasped, lumbar was grasped and body was pressed.
