The Feasibility Of Adding Sanda Into College Physical Education In Jiangxi Province

Many people are trying a lot for chinese traditional sports' entering the Olympic Games with the arrival of 2008.Though this kind of efforts may not be successful,it does remind us that we must develop and popularize the traditional sports.Sanda,an important part of modern Chinese kungfu and the the product of communication between eastern and western culture which originated from the traditional Kungfu and then absorbed the thoughts of the western sports'study has become a typical athletic sports item of the modern Kungfu and so that attracted many young people.It has the characteristics such as antagonism,truculence, admiring and folk.With the development of 27 years' development,Sanda has had a completed technology system,theory system,games system and scientific teaching and training methods.At present,many universities are implementing teaching innovation under the instruction of "health first".Those universities in Jiangxi province are building the new campuses and gymnasiums,therefore,Sanda is at the point time of development.This paper is based on the spot check of 14 universities in Jiangxi province and the interviews to the university presidents,kungfu teachers and students.After analyzing the research by the ways of datum methods,stat.and comparison analysis etc.,I find that many university presidents worried that Sanda may hurt the students,so that they opposed teaching Sanda and prevent the development of the gyms,equipments.Therefore,Sanda must be innovated in order to make it less dangerous.This report includes the contents as following: courses MBO,courses system,teachers,gyms,equipments,the value of Sanda and security.The report may help a little the development of Sanda and I sincerely hope that Sanda could be adopted as a course for college students and become a popular sports for young people.
