On this basis, integrating the ideas of awakening education with teaching of reading children's literature has practical feasibility and necessity.First of all, there is very close relationship between quality education and children's literature . In the "Opinion on children's literature", Guo moruo had pointed out that: the educational function of children's literature is mainly "emotional education", "education on aesthetics" and "the influence of human nature". That is to say, with regard to primary and secondary education, the significance of children's literature is not only literacy, writing, but also more. That is to use its great power of education to carry out the emotional and aesthetic education for children, to gradually form a good character, a sound personality , the right values and so on, and to wake up a variety of inherent potentials inside students. Therefore, the construction of awakening education in the course of children's literature reading has the utmost importance in the quality of primary and secondary school education.Secondly, children's literatures are perfect and natural resources for awakening education courses. Wang Quan-gen ever said: "children's literature and Chinese language teaching in primary and secondary schools have one integrity with both sides, because children's literature, (referring to literature which serves for the spirit's healthy growing up of juveniles under 18 years old and is suitable for them to undergo psychological and aesthetic experience of reading) and Chinese language teaching in primary and secondary schools are both faced with mass of children under the age of 18. It is undoubtedly the common responsibility for culture and ultimate goal of children's literature and Chinese language teaching that how to provide qualified spiritual food for children so that they can learn the beauty of literature and mother language and the spiritual life of our nation's next generation can be promoted." As we see, the fundamental significance of children's literature is to help children grow up healthily. Excellent children's literature can make students access to the joy of spirit,expand horizons, increase knowledge, develop intellectual and non-intellectual factors, cultivate aesthetic capacity and shape the healthy personality which coincide with the ideas of awakening education.We can say: the whole activity of reading children's literature has always sparkled with awakening meaning from here and there; conversely, the main body of children's literature of the text can not be separated from the classroom of awakening education.Upon the basis of the existing educational ideas and research achievements on children's literature reading, the thesis analyze the specific awakening function of children's literature and the status quo of reading children's literature, aiming at the psychology of accepting and the anticipation for reading of infants, children and teenagers who are in three different stages. And it makes deep-going practical explorations in combination with specific textbooks and works, under the ideas of awakening education.
