With the acceleration of economy globalization, great changing is happening to world economy and technology. A new run of education revolution with more scope is caused by these changing of social need and technical development. During the education revolution movement in all countries, course revolution is the key point to whole basic education. Teaching material is the production of course revolution. It is embodiment of course objective and content, as well as it is the main medium for teachers and students having teaching behavior. Teaching material is very important for education revolution.In order to meeting development requirement, chemical teaching material was modified heavily by the new run of chemical course revolution, especially for the new teaching material public and the using of the three currently different versions high middle school chemistry normal test book"chemistry and technology"(optional). It show course revolution direction and revolution key points fully under the guidance of new course concept."chemistry and technology"which was introduced into our country as one optional course module and teaching material, has creative meaning and important effect on middle school chemical course development.The value, function and characters of the course in the optional teaching material"chemistry and technology"was analyzed in this paper. The detail analysis and comparing was made from kernel content construction, compilation clue, content present way for the three different version"chemistry and technology". At same time, the analysis was done to the potential question during using, and suggestion was provided to the compilation of teaching material. By the comparing of these there different versions optional teaching material"chemistry and technology", it was hoped that this paper is propitious to the further improvement of teaching material and it is useful for lot of teacher to understand chemical course specification and"chemistry and technology"optional technical material more deeply. The final target is to improve teaching and students developing.
