From an empirical perspective, the paper relies on the fact, studies the present situation of rural compulsory education in Lushan county. What’s more,conclusion the existing problems, finding out the problems, and providing some references for future development of the rural compulsory education in Lushan county.This paper contains four parts:Firstly, it describes the development present situation of the rural compulsory education in Lushan county. The paper briefly introduces the population, social,natural conditions and summarizes the development of education in Lushan county. Then from three aspects (the school layout situation, teaching situation and students situation), it describes the development present situation. Once more, surveying the situation to carry out the "feeding project".At last, summing up that Lushan county government has increased the financial input in education, and educational condition has improved obviously, and the rural compulsory education allowance policy has put into effect. Addition, the quality of teachers has overall promoted, and the structure has been optimized.Secondly, it summarizes existing problems in the development of rural compulsory education. Though talking with rural primary and secondary school administrators, teachers, students and their parents, as well as the statistics analysis to the education, from four aspects (the students, teachers, education resource allocation and the rural social atmosphere), it describes the rural compulsory education development present situation of Lushan county.Thirdly, it analyses the factors which restrict the development of rural compulsory education of Lushan county. Based on the theoretical analysis, it points out the the barriers in the development of rural compulsory education of Lushan county. It mainly cames from the objective influence of the rural economic and social changes, policy oriented unbalanced, the education system and other factors.Finally, according to the survey and the relating theory, the paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to promote the development of rural compulsory education. On the one hand, the government should rely on central policy and financial support, such as the construction of standardized boarding schools and the "rural primary school project", improving rural teachers’treatment, building the system of compulsory education funds budget and strengthening the whole provincial plan, building beautiful country culture, and promoting the vitality of rural compulsory education development. On the other hand,Lushan county needs practicing and exploring to adjust the local conditions of education measures, such as combining characteristic tourism economy with secondary vocational education; building the rural primary school into the country’s culture and learning center; and the appropriately recovery of mountain elementary school. What’s more, combining the strong of the government, society, schools and families, caring for stay-at-home children.Through the study of the field survey of rural compulsory education development of Lushan county, expect to be a burning lamp, for the development of rural compulsory education in poverty-stricken areas lit a light of candle.
