The goal of Chinese secondary vocational education is training application-oriented technical professionals and skilled workers in manufacture,construction,management and service areas.It has dual role,which is "education" and "vocation".Chinese secondary vocational education has formed a certain scale after decades of development,and its development achievements are obvious.However,compared to its absolute growing quantity,Chinese secondary,vocational education does not get a homologous recognition.Firstly,the social status of the secondary vocational education is low.Compared to the general upper secondary education,the per capita level of funding for education of secondary vocational education is reducing,the school infrastructure is poor,the ratio of student and teacher is high,the parents and enterprises think the quality of students is not high,the academic study of secondary vocational education is little.Secondly,the internal identity crisis of secondary vocational education.Teachers and students do not agree with the value of secondary,vocational education,not agree with the educational status of secondary vocational education,the "misplaced" identity results in the internal identity crisis of secondary vocational education.The identity crisis of secondary vocational education is the result of the deterioration of the environment,is one of the impact of global education crisis,is the consequence of self-neglect,and the location is not accurate,the system of internal services market is unsound. The dual role of "education" and "vocation" request itself to develop the labor market and the education market at the same time.Therefore,the state must increase the funding and improve the vocational education services market,improve the quality of secondary vocational education evaluation mechanisms,and strictly carry out the qualification certificate management;the school must achieve the diversified goals and change the way of training,understand correctly the "capacity-based" and "employment-oriented";the student must improve their cultural knowledge and skills.In this way,Chinese secondary vocational education can be sustained long-term to develop.
