Firstly,this thesis described and analyzed the content configuration of vector in junior high school,and explored the teaching arrangement on vector according to the Curriculum Standards,then gave a briefing on vector related literatures,in which,on one hand,historical evolving process was described,through which a taste of profound mathematical meaning was presented,on the other hand,teaching achievement gained since vector was brought into senior high school curriculum was described,which could be used for reference in junior high school teaching. From perspective of Piaget's Cognitive-development theory,the feasibility that junior high school student should learn vector was illuminated,also its necessity was emphasized by analyzing vector's educational value in junior high school curriculum.Secondly,in this thesis,based on quantitative and qualitative studying methods, several questionnaire surveys and interviews were conducted to collect related data and information.Five aspects were considered in questionnaire survey form:①Students' general feelings on planar vector;②How well did students learn the vector knowledge;③Students' sense of vector application;④Teaching methods on vector;⑤Difficult points when students learn vector.Questions in questionnaire form were analyzed,and interview questions were designed to conduct interviews with teachers, then both existing problems when teachers teach vector and students learn vector and their views on vector were discussed,thus a thorough understanding of the current situation of vector teaching in junior high school was presented.Finally this thesis brought out a summary of several problems and advices that should be paid attention to in teaching process,which are listed as following:1,Effectively motive and arouse the enthusiasm of students to learn vector.①Blending vector teaching in everyday life.②Establishing the connection between vector and other subjects.③Let students be initially aware of vector application in this subject area.2,Comprehensively grasping the development trend of vector and its involvement with other mathematic structures.3,Adopting method of comparison to learn concepts and principles.4,Improving teacher's professional skills and abilities,reasonably adjusting the difficulty level in teaching process.
