As western curriculum and teaching theory extended in china, we are triggered with consideration that how does the western culture-rooted curriculum and teaching theory adapt to development of curriculum and teaching practice. Lack of understanding of traditional and cultural background and conditions of social infrastructure about local curriculum and teaching question, making a series of problems. Therefore, deepening new curriculum reform, comprehensively promote education for all-around development today, only inherit essential thoughts of traditional curriculum and teaching, combine with currently curriculum and teaching practice, absorb excellent curriculum and teaching theory overseas, the localization of Chinese curriculum and teaching theory can be achieved. By using theoretical analysis and literature study, the writer of this article aims to make an in-depth and systematic study of how to construct localization of Chinese curriculum and teaching theory, from the aspects of inheritance and innovation, theory and practice, introduction and reference, thus to promote Chinese curriculum and teaching theory forward.This thesis include following contents:Firstly, summarizes the cause of title selected and the value of this study, discusses the situation of existent studies, and then elucidates the methods and thoughts of this study. Secondly, inheritance and innovation on traditional curriculum and teaching theory will be analyzed from background, content and method of inheritance and innovation. Thirdly, discuss the localization of curriculum and teaching theory generated from practice, from the importance of teaching practice to teaching theory, the contribution and challenges from the curriculum reform practice to curriculum and teaching theory, the localization of the practice of teaching methods three aspects. The last, discuss how to digest and conformity of curriculum and teaching theory from the significance, the analysis of present condition, method of introduction and reference.
