The transformational leadership(TL) is a new type of leadership theory which originates from western countries.through the establishment of the vision of goal,To stimulate intellectual, personalized care and example of a model,Leaders of the organization could improve the operational efficiency.Teachers' organizational commitment(TOC) is an attitude that the teachers are identified with the goal and value of the school they have taught,have strong sense of identity and loyalty to the organization,want to dedicate to the school,take participate in the activities actively and hope to continue to serve the school.Firstly,according to the related literature at home and abroad,the article summarize:and comment on related researches of TL and TOC,then define both of the content and dimensions of them.Secondly,a survey was conducted by using of interviews and questionnaires,we selected 20 representative of primary and secondary schools in Luoyang City as Study samples.About 250 questionnaires were collected for statistical analysis,and three principals and six teachers were interviewed,and valuable research data was acquired.Firstly we analyzed the status of the teacher's organizational commitment in these sample Schools,Found the level of the TOC was very low,Then we made a correlation analysis between the TL(principals) and TOC,the results showed a high degree of correlation between the two.Then we made the multiple regression analysis on how principal's transformational leadership influenced teachers' commitment The last we raised a number of recommendations on the basis of the results of the study,in order to improve the level of teacher's organizational commitment.
