Since our country's new Curriculum reform of the basic education has set a new standard for the teaching profession,teachers can not teach students only by experience while without going through a deep thought of it,just as the saying goes:"twenty years of teaching simply means repetition of a year's for twenty times."Unless we can learn some lessons from reflection,we can't get any progress.The one who always teaches like mentioned the above will always remains on the same level as a novice teachers.Therefore,so as to adapt to the requirement of the new course reform,to realize the transformation of the educational ideas,and to put these ideas into practice effectively,the teachers should attach much emphasis on reflection.This paper has adopted several research methods such as documentary collection, experience summarization and etc.And the paper also includes several parts: The first part:General idea of reflective teaching.The paper raises the idea that teaching needs reflection and also put forward the significance of reflection.The second part:Theoretical foundation of reflection.The paper illustrates people's understanding of reflection and the functions reflection has had in the theories of information processing,meta-cognition and structuralism.The third part:Having introduced the three typical reflection modes,it summarizes the basic principles and puts forward the author's own model in the teaching of physics in junior high school.The fourth part:The contents and methods in reflection.The reflection includes the ones of the teaching method and aim,the one of teaching steps,the one of the teaching contents and the one of teaching habits.The fifth part:It shows through the teaching cased about how to reflect in detail.
