Nowadays, research on reflective teaching or reflective teachers is one hot and important point within domestic and international teacher education. But in regard to the present condition of the research, however, there is a series of problem. The key sticking point is that the existing research is too much abroad, especially the content of reflection, and it causes the effect of reflection very low. Aim at the above problem, the author thinks we should embody the content of teacher's reflection.In the second chapter, the author demonstrates the importance of the teacher's reflection from two aspects, objective requests and subjective demand. Promoting the teacher's life values and meaning, adjusting the request of the new curriculum reform, and changing the paradigm of the curriculum studies etc, all request the teachers to reflect.Chapter three is the important and difficult part of this thesis. The author analyzes the process of reflection, as a life attitude, a thinking style to criticize the presupposition and a means of individual freedom and emancipation, as a belief existing in peoples' brain, though reflection and assumption, two-core concept of the thesis establish an inherent contact. Teacher is namely to reflect three kinds of assumption, model assumption, normative assumption, and cause and effect assumption. On the basis of making sure of the content of teacher's reflection, the author illustrates the three kinds of assumption in education, and the influence of assumption in education on teachers by means of making use of the structure theory of the culture level. In course of analyzing the influence and the difficulty to reflect the assumption, the author further sums up that the content of teacher's reflection is to reflect the normative assumption, in other words, is to reflect the teacher's teaching values.Finally, the author points out to clarify the teacher's teaching values.
