Research On Residents Sports Participation In The Process Of Southern Jiangsu Small-Town Urbanization

Urbanization is an inevitable phase in a country's economic development and the acceleration of China's urbanization is an objective requirement of China's economic and social development. As a junction and bridge linking urban and rural areas, small town will play an important role in the process of urbanization. As the forerunner in China's economic and social development, southern Jiangsu's urbanization has seen great improvement and people's production and life mode has also changed. Small-town-level sport is an important part of China's sport cause and the objective requirement of urbanization. This article analyses southern Jiangsu residents'sport participation status in the process of urbanization from the perspective of urbanization.Employing the comprehensive assessment index system, 8 towns in Changzhou was sampled randomly to compare their level of urbanization and determine which urbanization phase they are in. With plenty of data, the impact of urbanization on southern Jiangsu residents'life and production is analyzed. Also analyzed is their sport participation. The aim is to give a scientific assessment of southern Jiangsu's small town residents'sport participation, to explore factors that are restricting their participation, to give suggestions on how to promote their participation and to provide food for thought for southern Jiangsu and even China's small-town-sport.Through the analysis and research, this article draws the below conclusions:Changzhou small-town has been essential to achieve urbanization,Urbanization bring the impact to life of residents and make their life style and work life style change;Changes of life bring the impact to healthy of residents too;Developing small-town sports is one of the more effective method to improve residents healthy;More and more residents have participated in sports,the character of the sports participants is very clear;The organization and management of the sports should be improved;The small-town residents have more requirement for the sports service,due to the lake of the sports service,the residents chase for sports participation is restrained.
