The Study Of Chinese Government's Role In Promoting The Employment Of University Students

National higher education since 1999 has been expansion, the number of university graduates becomes bigger and bigger every year. In 2001, the number of college graduates reached 1,150,000, while in the year 2007, the number of graduates reached 4.95 million, increased in the number of millions every year. But the community which provide jobs to graduates is far less than the number of new jobs, so more and more college students can not meet the requirements of the job. However, employment of university students is not only a personal problem but also a social problem related to the individual student's future, further to society as a whole healthy and stable development. Therefore, how to promote the employment of university students is the focus of government work.This article is divided into four parts. For the introduction of the first part, mainly university students on the employment situation is grim choice of background and significance. The second part is the employment status of college students in China and the Government to promote the theoretical basis for the employment of university students. The third part is the government in promoting the college's role in employment and the causes of deviations. The fourth part is the Government in promoting the role of the employment of university students will be concluded in which the Government should assume the role of policy-makers, practical guidance and financial supporters.In this paper, students from the current employment situation is grim for the starting point of the phenomenon, in-depth analysis of the reasons that the Government in the role of the employment problem and the reasons for deviation, and the Government in promoting the employment of college graduates to assume the role should be: that is, policy-making , the practice guidance, and funding supporters.
