Under New Curriculum High School Mathematics Textbook Comparative Research On "Mathematics 1" Of Three Versions

With the publication of National Curriculum Standard of General Senior High School Mathematics,textbooks of five editions appeared.They have beening put into pratice in four province since Sep 2004.With the Literature Analysis Method,Statistical Analysis Method,Cases Analysis Method and so on,this research carries on the thorough and systematic comparison to the content,the Organizational Structure,the Configuration of the Exercises,the Form,the Educational Function of the textbooks of three editions published by People Education Press(Edition B ),by Beijing Normal University Press and by Jiangsu Eduction Press.After systematically comparing the module of "Mathematics 1" from the three sets of textbooks, we reached the following conclusions:(1) In the module of "Mathematics 1",the three sets of textbooks in accordance with the "standard" requirement to select the same section of mathematical knowledge:Set,the Concept of Function,Basic Elementary Function:Exponential Function, Logarithmic Function and Power Function;teaching hours are equally arranged,the editions published by People Education Press(Edition B ) and by Jiangsu Eduction Press have been arranged 36 teaching hours,the edition published by Beijing Normal University Press have been arranged 35 teaching hours.But on the specific arrangements of Knowledge points,they have subtle difference: the edition published by People Education Press(Edition B ) selected the most knowledge points, followed by the edition published by Beijing Normal University Press,the least is the edition published by Jiangsu Eduction Press.(2) The Architecture of three sets of textbooks are different from each other,the edition published by People Education Press(Edition B) is focus on Expanding of the internal Knowledge Systems;the edition published by Beijing Normal University Press depending on the students' Activities;the edition published by Jiangsu Eduction Press starts on the mathematics problems。(3) On the Configuration of exercises,the edition published by People Education Press(Edition B ) is the most abundance,which focus on the Master of students' on Basic Knowledge,Skill,Thinking;the edition published by Beijing Normal University Press focuses on the Understanding and Consolidation of the knowledge,put up more appropriate problems;the edition published by Jiangsu Eduction Press sets more kinds of exercises,Developing students' skills in the exercises.(4) On the form of the three sets of textbooks,the edition published by People Education Press(Edition B) focuses on changing the way of study;the edition published by Beijing Normal University Press focuses on the Participation of students;the edition published by Jiangsu Eduction Press focuses on training the Consciousness of Question。(5) On the Educational Function,the edition published by People Education Press(Edition B ) focuses on the connection of knowledge, to the Self-Exploration of students and understanding of the Nature of mathematics;the edition published by Beijing Normal University Press pays attention to the the Nature of mathematics,and sets up knowledge formally;the edition published by Jiangsu Eduction Press helps students participate actively,and help the teachers teaching creatively。This research possibly provides certain reference not only to the preparation and amendment of senior middle school mathematics textbook,but also to teachers who carry on instructional designs and creative teaching main in the exercise design and in the junior middle school teacher's exercise teaching.But it is only the one-sided view.This research's insufficiency lies in the research to be not very thorough,comprehensively,waits for further unearthing...
