This thesis is completed after the author's participation in the process of the project research on."Promoting the Teachers' Self-questioning Capabilities of Problem Solution in High Shool Geography Teaching",one sub-project of "Research on the Cultivation of Secondary Geography School Teachers' Capabilities of Teaching Reflection",set up by Common Education Research Institute of Fujian province,based on the serious interpretations of the concept of the new curriculum for high schoo geography,studying lots of relevant theories and practising them in the teaching procedure.Through the application of the "Problem Solution" teaching method in the new curriculum standards of teaching high school geopraphy(Published by People's Education Press,Compulsory),the purpose of this research is to explore how to make geography teaching truly realize the requirements of curriculum concept when the new curriculum is carrying out to transform teachers' education idea and students' learning way,promoting teachers' growth and students' development.Firstly,this thesis sets forth the relevant concepts,characteristics and dymamics at home and abroad,deals with the coherence between new senior high school geography curriculum concept and the "Problem Solution" teaching method,and draws on the experience of some research document on "Problem Solution" teaching at home and abroad to research and summarise the theory that has influence over the education theory on "Problem Solution".On this basis,it builds up the applied pattern of the teaching way of "Problem Solution" in geography curriculum of new senior high school,introducing concrete operational method,mainly discussing classroom teaching operation procedure and operation technological process,role and task between students and teachers,teaching assessment and so on,and designing the teaching mechod of "Problem Solution" in the implementational typical example in the geography curriculum,making an effort to offer a feasible pattern.At the same time,by way of experiment,investigation and interview etc,it tests the feasibility of the "Problem Solution" teaching of geography in senior high school,makes a comment on the existing problems and difficulty in the process and puts forward methods to offer theoretical reference and practical basis for further research on application of "Problem Solution" teaching method.
