This text is about the research on aesthetic appreciation in the teaching of Chinese News reading in the senior high school. By using comparison and exemplification, the research is aimed at learning some beneficial ideas of Journalism and Communication Theory and Accepted Aesthetics so that the development of the teaching theory of Chinese reading in the senior high school can be improved. According to the requirement of Chinese curriculum standard, the reference of Journalism and Communication Theory and the impact of Accepted Aesthetics Theory, my work can be divided into three parts: Firstly, Chinese curriculum standard advocates the combination of Chinese language education and aesthetic education. "Reading and Appreciation" is one of the goals of the new Chinese curriculum in senior high school and we can see "appreciation" has been attached great importance. "Utilize the association to observe the image, stimulate the emotion to relish the expression, comprehend fully to experience the artistic conception"- these ways can be applied to appreciate the News items in the teaching of News reading in high school. Secondly, by using the Journalism and Communication Theory for reference and introducing the idea of "doctrine of receivers", theoretical preparations of News appreciation in the teaching of News reading in high school can be made. The analysis and research can be done in the process of News reading and from the effects of sympathetic response. The theory of "ideological information" in Journalism and Communication can be used to state the significance of the News appreciation in the teaching of Chinese News reading in high school. Thirdly, we can see the past, present and future of the teaching of News reading more clearly by quoting the "Historic Accepted Theory", the central theory of aesthetics, to our thinking about the teaching of Chinese News reading in high school.
