| Today, leisure is not only an indispensable component of the urban residents' daily life; it has become an important feature of civilization and the signs of social progress. According to foreign scholars' prediction, around 2015, developed countries will enter the "leisure era", developing countries will also follow their footsteps, and leisure industry will replace the information industry and become the first engine to promote global economic growth.At present, China's urban residents have been entitled 115 statutory holidays, which means that people will spend one third of their time in leisure. With the increasing of disposable income and leisure time, people's consumption of non-material products are in the proportion of the trend of rapid increase, leisure is gradually becoming the new growth point of the city's economic development.Fuzhou, as one of China's open coastal cities, economic development levels continue to grow. In 2007, the per capita disposable income of Fuzhou urban residents was 16,765 yuan, at an increase of 17.1 percent over the previous year, after deducting the price factors, the actual growth was 12.5 percent; per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents was 11,892 yuan, the Engel's coefficient was 39.5 percent. Leisure demand of residents is potential. Research on Fuzhou urban residents' leisure behavior system is the weak link.This paper uses the combination method of quantitative and qualitative analysis, from multi-time and multi-feature scale, analyses the residents' motivated leisure, recreation decision-making behavior, choice of leisure space, leisure consumer behavior and other aspects, illustrates the characteristics of Fuzhou residents' leisure and behavior, and the role of the driving factors, and proposes the primary means and the strategies on developing of leisure industries, promoting public leisure education and healthy leisure styles. The results have a positive impact on the healthy development of leisure industry and the rational allocation of leisure resources in Fuzhou. The research has certain theoretical significance and value. |
