With the expansion of enrollments in colleges and universities, the quality problems in teaching have become an increasing concern in various sectors of society. The validity of teaching is an important factor which affects the quality of teaching in colleges and universities. It concerns the success or failure in teaching. From teacher' teaching angle, the validity of teaching in colleges and universities refers that teacher design teaching process with reason as specialized as possible to obtain teaching effect more perfectly, achieve specific purpose and promote the development of student roundly and freely in the guiding of constructing new teaching idea unceasingly. Its essential features are following: students investing to learning process, embodying specialized depth, having creation desire, teachers interacting and exchanging with students and forming reconsideration custom. The validity of teaching has the process where the learner display independently and the teacher study unceasingly. From teacher' teaching angle, the factors influencing the validity of teaching conclude mature degree of teacher specialization, designing principle of teaching process, teaching skill and style of teaching behavior. On the basis of fundamental research and through real investigation and analysis of the validity of teaching in university, it also has some problems including lacking attention to the student individual,reconsideration teaching,diversification teaching and the behavior style of innovation leading in our country. According to these problems, the author summarizes several suggestions to improve the quality of teaching as follows, paying attention to the student individual actively to promote professional development of teachers; reconsidering teacher's teaching behavior to construct new teaching idea unceasingly; strengthening diversification teaching to enrich teaching skill and cultivating free exploration soil to encourage innovation leading behavior style.
