Shanghai tries to achieve the great goal that best education goes with best teachers. Our government has made a decision to carry out "Shanghai Cultivated Project of Well-known Teachers in basic Education". The project predicts that in next 5 years, government attempts to turn out more than 100 specialists and famous principals in basic education. As one of the cultivated project of well-known teachers, the author has attended the whole process of the first project and gained a lot from it, With many great thanks, the author managed to analyze the systems and measures of the first project, the author would like to put forward some effective measures and suggestions so that the government can organize the next four projects better and better.As having participated in the project, the author owned a good many practical involvement cases and document materials, approximately, action research. Meanwhile, the thesis is based on demonstration research to make the evaluation to the project objectively measured, which mainly applied unfolded elaborate questionnaire survey and interview to the investigation. In the process of it, researcher made some questionnaire surveys respectively among 20 teachers who have ever attended the course of the first project and 126 general teachers who come from ten different middle school in SJ district, and interviewed over 10 people who were composed of the directors of the English subject base, officials, a university teacher, the cultivated teachers in the base and some ordinary teachers to get further understanding some issues. All sorts of materials prove and test the methods in the thesis to improve the validity and reliability of the project; besides, the author looked through a lot and summarized the relevant documents home and abroad to make the value of the study more general and meaningful.The thesis will expose some unsatisfactory issues about the project, the function of the demonstration and leading that the famous teachers and the base of the cultivated project of the well-known teachers had made were not well accepted completely by the ordinary teachers who didn't take part in the activities of the base. Another was that the content and method of the basic training were not suitable to the teachers and not effective as well, so the teachers participating in the training were not highly motivated. As they could not spare their time and energy, they had to accomplish the normal work in their own school. The training occupied most of their spare time. As a result, they were exhausted. Another issue was that during the training, promoting their research ability should be mixed with the training content, which was concerned with one part of the training. The fourth was that the finances invested in the project by our government were not as equal to the training results produced as expected. The author thought that the reasons why there were a variety of issues in the project were that the project set up at that time and carried out were the lack of the systems of supervision and evaluation in the process of it. The directors of the base couldn't show strong ability to apply theory for practical teaching; on the other hand, finances invested in the project were used unreasonably. Based on demonstration research mentioned above and with regard to some successful and valuable experience home and abroad, the thesis means to put forward the effective measures and proposals that we should make full use of the Internet to display the well-known teachers' function and efficiency. Another is that during the course, the directors should combine theory with practical teaching. The third is that our officials should pay much attention to the process of the project and supervise the results and achievements. |
