| Modern distant education, represented by network education, provided a good way for people's continue education and boosted the start and development of network education in our country. At the same time, with the emerging problem of the quality issues in distant education, the research of how to assure the quality and efficiency of the distant education in higher education becomes an important topic in distant education field.This dissertation started from the social and theoretical basis of the generation of distant education, introduced the definition and major methods of network education, and discussed the assessment system of the distant education abroad. After that it discussed the network education quality assurance system in our country in detail, introduced some concepts of network education and the definition of quality, and analyzed the major part, function, attributes, the process and principal of current quality assurance. Most of the research on network education in our country focused on the"output value"aspect and only analyzed on a single aspect of the system, such as the outcome of education and employment rate, etc. This dissertation focused on the research on the overall management efficiency on network education using DEA and super efficient DEA model, it also provided some improvement on non-effective education center based on the research on 13 centers in the Network Education College in Tianjin University. Based on the conclusion of the research, this dissertation forecasts on the future student sources and proposed some improvements on network education management team, including enhancing education resources, improving the management and organization system, improving the teaching team, building a network education supporting system, enhancing the management and audit center outside the college, etc. In the final part, this dissertation concluded that the network education college in our country should develop into independent network university. |
