Study On The Integration Of College Education In Legality And Morality In Xinjiang

Xinjiang is an inalienable part of our motherland from the old and her stability touches on our national stable development. The lagging economy development, remote location, vast melting-pot of different national minorities, religious believes, unique national custom…all these have caused the struggle between national division and anti-division from time to time--although it has the different manifestation in the different stage."Stability being of paramount concern"to Xinjiang people ,each of them have personal experience to tell.The college students in Xinjiang, as the builders and successors of this region, in order to realize the stability, various nationalities' unity and the economic development of Xinjiang, have a compelling obligation. While cultivating college students'legal idea and moral consciousness which is an important work to national unity and a social stability in this area. Strengthening education in law and morality is an efficient path to raise college students'legal idea and moral consciousness, then how to carry out education of the legal system and morality is a problem that calls for immediate solution. So the author proposed that: In Xinjiang area, the education in law and morality for college students should combine with strengthening education in view of country, awareness of national security and patriotism; And this must not only met general requirement of our state's education in law and morality in colleges and universities, but also avoided overemphasizing students'professional qualities in university education. According to the particular case of Xinjiang area, we must explore an educational model that suits to the legal education and moral education in colleges and universities.In view of the present situation in Xinjiang, to the law education and moral education for college students in Xinjiang, besides the national requirements, it should have local special significance and requirements. In the west part of our country, especially in Xinjiang, there are some practical problems and serious issues such as strengthening reginal stability, maintaining solidarity among ethnic groups, fighting against nationality splittism, upholding national unity. So it should take the legal education which combined with education in strengthening view of country, awareness of national security and national unity & territorial integrity as an important content and region Features in law education; And takes moral education which enhanced the education in patriotism, the view of equality & solidarity between different ethnic groups and the notion of all peoples live harmoniously as core content of moral construction of local university students. Developing patriotism in moral education is the precondition of the consciousness of legal system of national security; meanwhile, the developing view of country and awareness of national security in legal education is legal guarantees for patriotism. So the two kinds of education should be combined and supplement to each other.In the process of current educational law and morality in Xinjiang, the education only touched on basic political ideology and notion of respecting for the law, but didn't aware that the contents of strengthening view of country, awareness of national security and national unity & territorial integrity in law education and enhancing the education in patriotism and national unity in moral education are core and key in this area. In recent years, along with the fast social and economic development, the regional disparity is increasing and the regional economic development is becoming imbalance, together with the influence of the power of illegal religious and the obstruction of hostile forces both home and abroad, which made maintaining the social stability, border protection, economic development and national unity main duties. The college students, as the elitists who construct our society and motherland in the future, have an important influence on social stability; and the universities and colleges, as the major sites of law education and moral education for college students, should highlight the view of country and patriotism in education. So the combining site of the law education and moral education for college students in Xinjiang is to integrate the national view, awareness of national security with patriotism. And how to do this is an important research topic.Based on the analysis of present situation of Xinjiang area, especially such as the influence of religion and customs on college students and fact of"three forces"(religious extremists, regional separatists, international terrorists) being penetrating into universities and colleges, this paper expounded the necessity of taking the education in view of country, awareness of national security and patriotism in law education and moral education as the focal point, at the same time proposes the way to solve them. More concretely, though strengthening the effectiveness & emphases of theoretical education and to the current educational mode, this paper presented the idea that is highlighting the national view, awareness of national security and patriotism in law education and moral education and developing local theoretical curriculums; By purifying environment, running the colleges in accordance with the law in the link of practice teaching, created a good study and practice environment; Paying attention to forming good habits education, strengthening correct understanding of religion and citizen's freedom of religious belief, let the college students understand that--- China stipulates clearly citizens enjoy freedom of religious belief and the state separates education from religion and no organization or individual may make use of religion to conduct activities that interfere with the educational system of the State and let students know law and abide law; Finally, we should construct"four-in-one"educational network of family, school, society and oneself and Strengthen the law education of school, family and society. Though their learning and understanding, the college students should internalize them as belief and transformed them into behaviors, endeavor to become new generation of people with lofty ideals, moral integrity, good education and a strong sense of discipline. Only these measures are integrated in the law education and moral education; simultaneously pays great attention to facilitating and dealing with emergencies, then we can combine the basic theory education with the education of forming college students'good habits tightly .Based on these we can realize the social stability, national unity and economic development in Xinjiang. By law education and moral education, college students should set up a positive outlook on life, outlook on nationality and religion and should hold high the great banner of patriotism to make contribution to the national unity and the stability and harmonious development of the society in Xinjiang.
