A Sociological Analysis On Social Groups Segregation Of Land-less Peasants

With the accelerated urbanization process of China, the traditional rural suburbs lost, a large number of land-less peasants are obliged into the city, which is the unique situation during the urbanization process in China, and have brought a range of social problems about land-less peasants. In the process of urbanization, a large number of peasants were forced to enter the city. Circumstances in employment and lack of social security, they have been become the new poor of the city, and exacerbate the polarization of urban and rural,intensify the contradictions of different social strata. These questions will lead to social unrest as a possible factor. The solution, therefore, the relevance problem of land-less peasants will be directly related to economic development and social stability, related to the development of urbanization problem in China.At present, the resettlement of land-less peasants take the concentration of living. This model in a way convenient for the daily lives of the land-lass peasants, the land-lass peasants can still face the known-well living space and social context, and avoid the embarrassment of a loss which land-less peasants into the cities and rural areas face the complex and ever-changing life of a completely different kind of city living. But this concentration of living, together with the peasants of the countryside sticking to the original customs and way of life, form a kind of "underclass ghettos", and result in the emergence of social groups segregation .Based on the conclusion of the senior scholars to study the social groups segregation, I investigate the social groups segregation of the Changchun City. In this study,I take the combination of General Law,including qualitative research and quantitative research study. Land-less peasants in Changchun City for the case, master the first-hand information through questionnaires and visit forum. Taken to investigate the multi-stage stratified sampling from a sample of the way, a total of 500 questionnaires were issued, the use of face-to-face interview, 500 questionnaires, of which 480 valid questionnaires. At the same time during the survey, I conducte 12 in-depth interviews according to research needs.The land-less peasants of this study referring is the Crowd which originally rely on farming to survive, located in peri-urban farmers, because of the size of city expansion and development of the city, the land has been forced to crowd into the city life at the urbanization process. social groups segregation of this study referring specifically is defined as the process of urbanization, the peasants lost their land into the city, the atmosphere at a particular system, the level of income because of the economy, lifestyle and culture social differences between city people and the society gradually distance and must have a psychological distance, thus the formation of peasant and urban land between the public alienation, estrangement, discrete, exclusion and even hostility of a social situation.In this paper, based on the empirical research on social groups segregation of the Changchun City, I consider the social groups segregation of land-less peasants is mainly embodied in the separation of the three levels, namely, economic segregation, voluntary segregation and System segregation.Economic segregation is the characterization of social groups segregation on the economic level. Compared with the city people, land-less peasants economic segregation not only include the residential segregation, but also reflected in the standard of living, employment status and spending power and so on.Voluntary segregation is the characterization of social groups segregation on the psychological and cultura level. Including peasants and city people's social interaction and psychological isolation, peasants are in the cultural life and identity of isolation and so on. It is a voluntary group of land-less peasants and urban members of the public process of phase separation groups.System segregation is isolated groups of land-less peasants in the system-level characterization. I found that in all the situation of peasants behind segregation, there are a series of institutional factors. Factors of these systems is not only the status of peasants important characterization of segregation as well as the status of peasants why isolation. It is an external factor of isolation, because of the urban-rural household registration system and the existing system of land management and implementation, in a way caused a permanent separation of landless peasants.At the same time, this article believe that social groups segregation of the land-less parents will bring about some negative effects on the basis of empirical research. This article focuses on the relative deprivation of social unrest under the crisis, the economic effects of an island under the enhanced social inequality and social mobility under the curing rigid hierarchical structure of society, such as the negative effects of three aspects.Finally, I introduce the theoretical perspective of social integration in order to seek ways to solve the problem. At present our society is faced with the dual social and economic transformation, the role of the market economy, the institutional arrangements with the imperfections of our country, all walks of life, the fundamental interests of the groups diversified pattern emerged, the rapid development of a serious economic impact on society fairness and justice. Isolated community of farmers lost their land problems is its vivid portrayal. Exploration of the reform of city management system, make full use of city resources to help them integrate into society city life into the city for their livelihood system to provide a new design and protect the livelihood, the farmers lost their land to explore the path to adapt to city, in order to provide theoretical support for government decision-making.This study not only further promote the social stability of Jilin Province and the development of city of great significance, but also enrich the future development of the scientific theory of society and promoting the city of my country the implementation of the strategy of great theoretical and practical significance.
