Effect Of Volunteer Service In Ngraduate's Becoming A Useful Person

14 years has passed since China Youth Volunteers Action was carried out in 1993. During these years, with the focus on political work, local citizens'basic living standard, and the development of young people, the Youth League at different levels organized more than 150 million youths to participate in volunteer activities, such as poverty-relief project, city community construction, large-scale event, emergency rescue, sponsorship and rural electrification. It is a very valid way for the community to organize youth to take part in the social development and to develop youth human resources and train youth talent .It is also being an effective carrier on the moral strengthening both for the society and citizen.In the new century, it is deserved for us to research that how much and in what aspects it effects college students'development. In this text, we will discuss the influence of volunteer activities to the students'growing up through applying questionnaire survey, visiting and experiment .It mainly performs on these aspects. First, it is good for the students to deepen professional knowledge, gain scientific and culture knowledge. Second, it is also favorable for basic professional competence, professional knowledge proficiency, innovation capability and inter-personal communicative ability. Finally, it is good for them to develop political qualities, humanistic quality and psychology qualities. It should build and modify the unify authentic legislation of youth volunteer action ,enhance education in order to form good public opinions atmosphere, especially on volunteer service and spirit, enlarge the fields of volunteer service and increase the fund, enhance the artistic quality's improvement of organization, to make it college student's conscious pursuit as a volunteer.
