With the theory that reading teaching is the discourse between students, teachers and texts written in the Chinese Curriculum Standard of Fulltime Compulsory Education issued in 2001,"dialogue"as a mode of class teaching has been more and more frequently used by the Chinese teachers in their classes. However, from my point of view, the practice of"dialogue"in the classes ignored the features of the texts in the class teaching.Essays are the key point that I research into. Being a well-loved form of literature, essays play a very important role in the junior Chinese textbooks and can exert a gentle influence on the students with their rich literature connotation. But in the analysis of the actual teaching of essays, dialogues in the classes often fall into some misdoings in class, such as"Humanities first","language tasting"which definitely does not reach into the nature of essays. Or at most it can't go further than"scattering in appearance while concentrating in spirit"in the appreciation of essays. Based on the means of theory being combined with practice and some typical class teaching samples, this article will probe into the ways of essays reading research by grasping the features of texts in the teaching form of"dialogue". And at the same time, to fill up the deficiency that the past textbooks ignored the features of the texts, I will put forward the presumption in this article that certain arrangement of the textbooks should be adjusted according to the feature of the essays.
