Intuitive methods of teaching have a long history. Today, in the age of information, intuitive means of teaching are getting more and more diverse. This article reviews the history of the development of intuitive approach and describes the relationship between intuitive teaching and thinking in mathematics image; This article also explores the intuitive teaching of middle school mathematics in combination with the characteristics of middle school mathematics content and junior student's mathematics cognitive. Then, this article discusses that student's mathematics image thinking and creative thinking ability can be promoted by intuitive teaching in junior school. Considering the hierarchy characteristics of intuitive teaching in junior school, this article puts forward that the use of intuitive methods of mathematics teaching must follow the three basic requirements to practice intuitive teaching scientifically, and to fully achieve the purpose of mathematical thinking. (1)Combining organizing observation with guiding generalization.(2)Combining intuitive judgment with logical proof (3)Combining synthetic application with promptly progress. At the same time, this article points out the limitation of intuitive teaching and the problems that we should pay attention to. At last, this article proves the above points of view through intuitive teaching experiments.
