Research On Innovation Of College Honor Education

The socialist concept of honors and disgraces, with"eight honors and eight disgraces"as its main content, is a new achievement of theory innovation since the 16th representative assembly of Communist Party of China. It not only inherits Chinese traditional moral characters, such as loving our motherland, be united and helping with each other, be honest and trustworthy, hard work and struggle, but also reflects the characteristics of the times, such as people-centered, advocating science, law-abiding. The socialist concept of honors and disgraces creatively combines the traditional culture with the demands of the times. It meets the requirements of the development of socialist market economy, socialist rule of law and the construction of a socialist harmonious society. The socialist concept of honors and disgraces embodies the requirements of the basic socialist ethics and social trend. So it has great practical significance to the ideological and political education of college students.Through reports, we can know the students'moral status is healthy and progressive. However, there is still some uncivilized phenomenon, such as spitting, cheating, familiarity in public places, extravagance and waste, phone noise, indulging network, comparisons and so on. These uncivilized behaviors, if unchecked, will certainly affect the growth of college students. College students are the pillars of our motherland. Their ideological and moral status will closely affect the future and destiny of the Party and our motherland. So it's necessary to develop the college honor education.At present, college honor education has not produced tangible results. The main reason is that in education they biased towards the study of theory and neglected the practical experience, biased towards the dominant education and neglected the degree of subjectivity, biased towards the instilling education and neglected education in the service. Therefore, in view of the current school education, we should boldly innovate educational models, reform educational methods, to improve the effectiveness of college honor education.
