Job satisfaction is a kind of emotion experience and attitude about whether the teachers is satisfied with every aspect of their jobs, according to their own job criterion. It is of great importance and long-term interests to pay close attention to teacher's job satisfaction in order to stabilize teachers, arouse their work enthusiasm, ensure their body and mental health as well as improving school management and sustainable development.There is a questionnaire of primary school teachers' job satisfaction in this thesis, which is on the basis of probing into books about people's job satisfaction from home and abroad as well as teachers' job satisfaction. Teachers from Lianyungang primary school answered the questionnaire. By the way of Descriptive Statistics Analysis, Correlation Analysis and one way ANOVA, this thesis makes a though inquire into the current situation and factors which have effect on job satisfaction of teachers from primary school.From the study, the researcher can draw the following conclusions: (1)primary school teachers' job satisfaction includes ten factors: leadership, working environment, wage and welfare, members' relations, self-realization, work pressure, students and parents, promotion of education, teaching, perceived overall job satisfaction (including dimission intention). (2)In short, primary school teachers' degree of satisfaction is low. The descending order is members' relations, leadership, teaching, self-realization, working environment, students and parents, promotion of education, work pressure, wage and welfare, perceived overall job satisfaction. According to Pearson correlations, teachers' favorite factor is promotion of education, working environment, self-realization, teaching, wage and welfare, work pressure, students and parents, leadership, members' relations, perceived overall job satisfaction. (3)There are great differences in different regions and different reasons of becoming teachers; it is also different in the area of gender, marriage, title, years of service, academic qualification, income and age. But it makes no difference whether be a teacher in charge of a class or not.Some suggestions are given to the society, school and primary school teachers: a supportive network should be formed in society; the room to grow for students should be optimized in school; and the teachers should improve their comprehensive quality.
