Northwest University of public security and social reform model studyWith the expansion of the scale of the college, the use of new campus and deepening of the social reformation of the logistics, especially after the "Outline for the Development of China' s education reform" and "11th Five-Year Plan Outline" policy introduced. Government has vigorously promoted the development of higher education through a variety of ways, the students of primary and secondary school who could not enter into the college are required to accept vocational and technical education, so as to improve the urban and rural labor professional quality and skill level, it enables the rapid expansion of the scale of the college and the increasing number of school students. This is bound to make the campus public security work face with a new and more complex situation. In order to adapt the new situation better, raise the level of school safety management, do the management of public security and the comprehensive work well and protect the regulararity of the school teaching and the stability of the campus life, we must correctly understand the new situation of public security and make efforts to explore a new model of public security work. Despite the institutional reformation of the public security work of China University, we established the college public security agencies, which factually have played a great role on strengthening the construction of the campus public security organization and the maintenance of campus safety. However, there are a number of shortcomings in the course of its operating, and many challenges from internal and external; it needs to make the appropriate adjustments and changes. In this paper, the author would like to make exploration and do the research on the social model reformation of the campus public security under the new situation, and try to analysis on the current problems which we encounter in the campus public security work. And address these issues, we will give the corresponding countermeasures from the reformation of the management system,hardware and software equipment,the building of the contingent and the legislation of defending. With these efforts, we hope that these positive suggestions and comments can give references and inspirations to the campus public security staffs and research workers...
