| Sports in China's countryside is an important part of China's mass sport course and the sports undertaking as a whole. Sports law and People's Health-promotion Program are definite about promoting sports in rural areas. The development of sports in rural areas and the physical status of fanners are not sources of optimism. The main factor behind it is that there is some inequalities in the development of rural area sports. This study tries to analyze these factors from the point of fairness.The object of study is the equality of rural area sports. The methods employed are literature searching, field visiting, expert interviewing and logical analysis. Through studying general theories of equality, by forming the basic theoretic framework of equality of rural area sports, analyzing those unfairness in the development of rural area sports, investigating the causes of these inequalities, this thesis gives some countermeasures and suggestions for realizing equality in rural area sports, so as to give references to the realization of equality of rural area sports and the development of rural area sports.
