The Research Of College Students' Political Socialization In New Period

The political socialization of college students is one of the great components of the socialization of college students and the mature of politics is one of the marks of the success of college students' socialization. To develop the research into the political socialization of college students can not only richen the theories of political socialization, but also be important to improve the thinking-and-political education to college students, pushed construction of the core value system of socialism in colleges and universities, cultivate qualified successors to carry on the cause of socialist modernization and ensure national safety and stability. Guiding with the basic theories of Marxism politicalism and by the means of consulting sorting out and analyzing some documents and findings reports, the research first mentions the causes and value functions of the college students' political socialization in the new period, and then puts forward the countermeasures towards it, trying to richen the theories of the college students' political socialization so as to satisfy the practical needs on the condition of globalism and social reform. This research includes five parts altogether. The first part covers connotation and nature of political socialization and the content and characteristics of college students' political socialization.
