The Investigation And Study On The Affecting Factors In Choosing Jobs By The Suzhou Students In Higher Vocational College

Suzhou economy plays an important part in the national economy, and accordingly Suzhou market puts forward special requirements to the students in higher vocational college. Therefore, it is necessary to look into the situation concerning choosing jobs by the students in higher vocational college, know their tendency in choosing jobs, and find out the factors affecting their choice of jobs. The former measures are significant to increase employment rate among the students in higher vocational college and promote economic development.Based on the researches on documents, through psychological investigation into the affecting factors in choosing jobs by the students in higher vocational college and analysis of the investigation data integrated with the present Suzhou situation, this paper analyzes the five major factors which affect the employment of the students in higher vocational college, searches for the causes and proposes the relevant suggestions. In addition, this paper makes a longitudinal comparison, discusses the differences concerning colleges, sexes and ages, explores and searches the characteristics and rules in the difference, and makes analysis on the differences. This paper holds the view that it is of necessity to carry out pre-vocational education among the students in higher vocational college and help them make better plans for their individual vocational career.There are five chapters in this paper. The first chapter is an introduction that discusses the necessity and significance of the research. The second chapter introduces the former researches. The third chapter states the research ideas and concrete measures. The forth chapter is the main part of this paper. It gathers statistics of the investigation results, and analyzes the statistical results. The fifth chapter proposes some suggestions to deal with the problems that arise in the process of this research.
