| Teaching profession is an occupation of high strength and pressure, because of which make a great many teachers suffer from job burnout. Teachers with job burnout will have a vast negative influence on the students' development. With the development of the society and the education popularization, the role which teachers play becomes more and more important and the quality of education and teacher draw more attentions from people. In Panyu District in Guangzhou, as a high developed area, primary and secondary school teachers face with high pressure from the challenge of educational reform and innovation in this area. This study applied the questionnaires about job burnout emended by Mr. Wu Xinchun to survey 657 primary and secondary school teachers in Panyu district. The survey shows that job burnout exist seriously and widely in Panyu District in view of the overall situation, which is marked by badly emotional exhaustion, high personal accomplishment and depersonalization of low degree. Among one's 15-20 teaching ages is the most serious stage of job burnout. Teaching ages is one of the important factors for job burnout as well as the fact that the school is a key one or not. The title of a teacher, the working time in every week and the situation of their marriage also play a part of job burnout. But teachers' gender and teaching section of the teacher will not be the noticeable reasons for job burnout. In this study, we have reviewed some similar domestic and foreign subjects to discuss the reasons of job burnout and try to find out a solution to this problem in Panyu district. |
