| 21st is an era of technologies, network technology has already existed in every place of our society. As the graduate students, they can accept new things quickly just like the internet, and they felt the strong attack of it, and they are deeply attracted by the internet. But the bad consequence of which is some students depend on the internet too much, and has a pernicious influence on their own life. The research is based on the theory of needs and Use and Gratifications Theory. Northeast Normal University is the example of all other school in my research. The research adopts the theoretical analyzing and demonstration study methods, and uses statistics method to analyze the conclusion in order to find the motives of Internet Dependency in graduate students, and I also want to put forward some proposals for these students, I hope these proposals can help the students regard the network in the right way.The research conclusion is as follows:Firstly, the phenomenon of Internet Dependency has already existed in the graduate students. The incidence rate of Internet Dependency in all graduate students is 19.9%; the incidence rate of Internet Dependency in boy-students is 22.8%; the incidence rate of Internet Dependency in girl-students is 17.3%.Secondly, the main motives of the network users consisting of the motives of seeking help, the motives of gaining information, the motives of funning, the motives of social intercourse, he motives of anonymity, the motives of existing and the motives of solving problems.Thirdly, they have remarkable discrepancy in the motives of social intercourse, and they don't have remarkable discrepancy in the motives of seeking help, the motives of gaining information, the motives of funning, the motives of social intercourse, he motives of anonymity and the motives of existing.Lastly, the dependent users'motives in graduate students have no remarkable discrepancy between the sexes, and the independent users'motives in graduate students have no remarkable discrepancy between the sexes. |
